The ceremony, organized at the University Sheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (UCAD2), was marked by the presence of Sheikh Abdoul Ahad Cheikh Mbacke, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, Sheikh Tidiane Sheikh Abdoul Aziz Sy Al-Amin, President of the Unitary Framework of Islam in Senegal (CUDIS), Sheikh Mouhammadoul Mahi Ali Cisse, spokesman of the General Khalifa of the Fayda Tijania, Sheikh Mouhamadoul Mahi Cheikh Ibrahima Niass, and a representative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Senegal, among others.
The book, in Arabic, made by Professor Sheikh Babacar Niang "gives an overview of the history of Sheikh Ibrahima Niass and his relationship with the Kingdom of Morocco, through its throne, its government and its people, with the aim of revealing the types of cooperation and the depth of common roots in terms of ancestry, religion, language, history and geography," according to the preamble of this work.
The statements made during this ceremony of presentation and dedication, have highlighted the importance of this book that comes to document and enshrine the links between Sheikh Ibrahima Niass and the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as the strong centuries-old tie between the religious brotherhoods in Senegal and the Kings of Morocco.
