The program, prepared and presented by journalist Morad Moutaouakkil, aims to place the viewer at the heart of the news and national or international sports competitions through field reports and statements of practitioners and sports observers, in addition to analysis provided by guests from the studio talkshows of M24.
The 26-minute program will be broadcast every Monday at 8:30 p.m. with a repeat broadcast on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
For its first episode, "SporTime" welcomed the coach of FUS, Jamal Sellami, who spoke about his experience with the team, as well as his ambitions for this season. The show also focused on the results of the games of the 14th day of the Botola Pro D1 INWI.
The program also tackled the preparations of the Atlas Lions and their chances in the Africa Cup of Nations, which will start next Sunday in the Cameroonian capital, Yaounde, as well as highlighted the history of this soccer competition, considered the second oldest continental event after the South American Cup (Copa America).
Finally, "SporTime" has devoted the "Extra Time" column, hosted by journalist Maha Assaleh, to the gossip of stars and the unusual incidents related to the world of sports in general and soccer in particular, which have gone viral on social networks.
The new program has thus expanded the program schedule of the channel M24, which already includes "Al Machhad Attakafi" (cultural landscape), presented by journalist and poet Ouidad Benmoussa, "M Auto" hosted by journalist Jalil Bennani, "AĆ¢lam Chahrazad" (the world of Chahrazad) of the host Chahrazad Akroud, and the talk show "Bi kouli hodoue" (in all serenity) hosted by Samir Benhatta.
M24 also intends to launch, in the coming weeks, analysis programs to enrich its program schedule, which covers the entire day with news sessions, including debates led by experts, academics, officials, artists and writers, who discuss and comment on the news, and analyze the dimensions and contexts of a news item.
The channel also focuses on the main national and international events and delivers press readings, correspondences and columns, elaborated by its vast network of correspondents present throughout the country and in the main world capitals.
The Moroccan news channel M24, which reflects the singular and modern image of the Moroccan News Agency as a public information pole, aims to present a new product in order to recover a part of the Moroccan audience and thus contribute to reinforce the national sovereignty in the field of information.
