Ait Taleb stressed in a presentation before the Council of Government on the epidemiological situation in light of the evolution of the pandemic internationally, that the epidemiological situation in Morocco remains stable in view of the indicators of the national epidemiological surveillance system, said Minister of Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman Mustapha Baitas, in a statement read at a press briefing after the Council’s meeting.

The situation is maintained at the green level, marked by the low spread of the virus for five weeks, said Ait Taleb, noting that in the face of this situation, several countries in the world are experiencing a pandemic relapse, with the emergence of the new worrying variant "Omicron".

To preserve the gains made by Morocco and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of measures taken, the Minister stressed that the government urges citizens to respect health security measures, including vaccination, notably the 3rd dose, as well as preventive measures, which will allow, he said, the gradual return to normal life and the resumption of many economic and social activities in the coming weeks.
