Arab Cup (Day 3/Group C): Atlas Lions Beat Saudi Arabia (1-0)

Doha - The Moroccan national football team beat its Saudi counterpart 1-0, Tuesday at the Al Thumama stadium in Doha, for the third day of group C of the Arab Cup (Qatar 2021).

The single goal of the game was scored by Karim El Berkaoui.

In the other match of the group, Jordan defeated Palestine by 5 goals to 1, advancing to the next round alongside the Atlas Lions.

Morocco is leading with 9 points, ahead of Jordan (6 pts). Saudi Arabia and Palestine are eliminated.

In the quarter-finals, scheduled for next Saturday, the national team will face the second team from Group D, which includes Egypt, Algeria, Sudan, and Lebanon. Jordan will play against the first of this group.
