In its daily bulletin on the epidemic situation, the Ministry noted that the number of people who have received the first vaccine dose reached 24,430,812, those who got two jabs amounted to 22,702,725, while 1,751,318 people had three doses.
The new reported cases bring to 950,374 the total number of infections since the first case was recorded in Morocco in March 2020, while recoveries rise to 932,737 (a recovery rate of 98.1%).
The new daily cases were reported in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (62), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (56), Marrakech-Safi (11), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (6), Eastern Region (4), Fez-Meknes (4), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (3), Souss-Massa (3), Draa-Tafilalet (1) and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (1).
The total number of deaths rose to 14,784 (case-fatality 1.6%) with 2 new confirmed deaths in the region of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra and Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima.
The number of active cases stands at 2,853, including 109 people in a critical or severe condition.
