During the meeting, Mezzour welcomed the relations of friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries, and emphasized the importance of "exploring together the avenues of collaboration", especially in the areas of digital transition and public administration reform.
"We are pleased with all the previous avenues of collaboration and we look forward to perpetuate and strengthen this partnership," said the minister in a statement to the press after the meeting.
She expressed the willingness of Morocco to draw on the Portuguese experience in the field of proximity centers to further promote citizen access to public services.
Digital transition is "a priority" for both Morocco and Portugal, said, for his part, Brilhante Dias, expressing the willingness of his country to work together with the Moroccan government on shared priorities and exchange on new solutions for social and economic development.
Welcoming the "solid" economic cooperation between the two countries, the Portuguese official recalled the signing on Monday of a cooperation agreement on the establishment of a Morocco-Portugal Economic Council between the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco and the Confederation of Enterprises of Portugal.
