Women's African Champions League: AS FAR Edge Malabo Kings (3-1) to Get Third Place

Cairo - Moroccan team AS FAR on Thursday defeated Equatorial Guinea's Malabo Kings 3-1 in Cairo to claim the bronze medal of the 1st edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.

Fatima Tagnaout gave the lead to the Moroccan team, before Carolina Pereira equalized for Malabo Kings.

Guizlane Chebbak then scored a brace to give AS FAR a well-deserved third place.

In the final, South-African Mamelodi Sundowns will face Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies on Friday.
