Cairo: Morocco Elected Vice President of Arab and African Prosecutors Associations

Cairo - Morocco was elected, Sunday in Cairo, as Vice President of the Association of Arab Prosecutors (APAR) and Vice President for the North African region of the Association of African Prosecutors (APA), on the sidelines of the 15th annual conference and meeting of APA and the 1st annual conference and meeting of APAR.

On this occasion, confidence was renewed in the current Bureau, including the presidency, with the adoption of a memorandum of understanding between the two associations.

Morocco is represented at this event by Ahmed Ouali Alamy, Head of the Public Prosecutor's Office and of the follow-up of the implementation of the penal policy within the Public Prosecution Office.

This three-day meeting is devoted to the discussion of the role of public prosecutors in countering transnational crimes and the exchange of experiences and expertise between members of the Association of Arab Prosecutors, especially on issues related to the fight against terrorism, money laundering, human trafficking and international judicial cooperation.
