"As part of the national strategy of vaccination against Covid-19 and in light of national and international data, the Ministry of Health and Welfare introduces the certificate of exemption from vaccination against Covid-19, granted to people with counter-indications," said a statement from the department.
Citizens belonging to categories not concerned by vaccination are called upon to present their medical records to the regional health delegation of their place of residence, then a local medical committee will decide on the requests after their review, it added.
To facilitate the procedure, those wishing to be exempted must present a certificate or medical records stating the counter-indications to vaccination, accompanied by the national identity card and telephone number.
Upon the documents' review, approved applicants will receive a text message from 1717 and will be able to download their certificate from the website "www.liqahcorona.ma."
