This meeting was an opportunity for both parties to review the cooperation projects of EBRD in Morocco, including the launch next December of financing facilities for the green economy for both the public and private sectors.

After reviewing the progress made by Morocco in the field of energy transition and sustainable development, the two parties agreed to examine the possibility of holding regular meetings to exchange on partnership opportunities between EBRD and the Kingdom, while stressing the importance of reorienting financing in favor of green and sustainable projects.

This meeting is part of a series of bilateral discussions organized by the Moroccan delegation in Glasgow, to mobilize funding for nature-friendly projects through international cooperation.
