This agreement, which was signed by Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, MAP Director General, and Hamid Asghar Khan, Pakistan's ambassador to Morocco, following a meeting at the headquarters of MAP, seeks to contribute to the development of relations of cooperation between the two agencies.
Under this agreement, the two agencies can exchange their news bulletin in english, photo and video services, provided by each party for the use of the other party.
The two sides will also provide the necessary assistance and support to their envoys and correspondents to Morocco and Pakistan to carry out their missions.
MAP and APP also agreed to exchange visits and expertise in journalistic, technical and administration spheres.
In this regard, each party agrees to organize in its own country visits and trainings of journalists, technicians and administrative staff from the other agency.
In a statement to MAP news channel M24, Asghar Khan stressed that this agreement will facilitate the flow of information between the two countries, linked by a long history of mutual cooperation.
The Pakistani diplomat emphasized the importance of opening new horizons for these distinguished relations, promising opportunities for cooperation between Morocco and Pakistan in various fields.
He added that the two parties have agreed, under this agreement, to organize mutual visits to teams of journalists from both countries, adding that an invitation has been extended to MAP Director General to visit Pakistan next March, in the framework of Pakistan's National Day celebrations.
The meeting was an opportunity to explore ways to develop relations between the two countries in the fields of culture and media.
