This exhibition was held at the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMVI) in Rabat, in partnership with the Louvre Museum and the Musée national Eugène Delacroix. The event had a great success in Morocco.
In a statement to MAP, Qotbi thanked Ms. Macron for her valuable support for the organization of this exhibition at the MMVI, adding that she sent a message of friendship to Morocco.
According to Qotbi, Ms. Macron expressed her consideration and esteem for the Kingdom and HM King Mohammed VI "who gives a great deal of importance to art and culture," and her "happiness" to support the country's cultural development.
The Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rabat hosted, from July 7 to October 9, an exhibition themed "Delacroix, souvenirs d'un voyage au Maroc" (Delacroix, Memories of a Journey to Morocco).
This exhibition was held for the first time in Africa and the Arab world.
