"This is a very nice recognition, especially since it is an event that comes after the last Assembly of the United Nations and is supported by the United Nations, "noted this ambassador of African design.

Awarded in the +Creatives Design and Lifestyle+ category, Hicham Lahlou said he was "impressed" by the magnitude of the 100 people in the different categories recognized by MIPAD especially for their career and their success.

The 100 nominations, he explained, are part of the International Year of the Creative Economy for Sustainable Development for the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

MIPAD organizes a ceremony that recognizes outstanding personalities of African descent and from around the world for their positive contributions.

This is a global civil society initiative held with the support of the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent, focusing on the 1st pillar of the decade: RECOGNITION.
