According to a statement from the Moroccan Embassy in Mexico City, the event held under the theme: "Support today becomes a fashion - Morocco at home", was organized by the association Salvatierra and the Mexican Red Cross in the state of Tlaxcala (120 km southeast of Mexico City).

Moroccan culture was highlighted at this event through a show of Moroccan caftans and a tasting of culinary dishes, the statement added.

On this occasion, Moroccan ambassador to Mexico Abdelfattah Lebbar, recalled the different civilizations that have forged the Moroccan identity (Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Jews and Arabs, Romans and Andalusians, Sub-Saharan Africans, etc.), highlighting the similarities between the Moroccan and Mexican cultures.
