Futsal World Cup (1st Day/Group C): Morocco Outclasses Solomon Islands (6-0)

Vilnius - The national futsal team outclassed its counterpart of Solomon Islands by 6 goals to 0, Monday in the 1st day game (Group C) of the World Cup, which is taking place from September 12 to October 3, in Lithuania.

Soufiane El Mesrar (2nd), Achraf Saoud (3rd), Raiss El Fenni (18th) scored the goals of the Atlas Lions in the first half.

In the second half, Bilal Bakkali (28th), Othmane Boumezou (31st) and Soufiane Borite (34th) scored the three remaining goals allowing the national team to win the 3 points.

Morocco will face next Thursday (at 6 p.m.) Thailand in the 2nd day game, while the Solomon Islands will play against Portugal.

The second match of Group C will oppose tonight (6 p.m.) the Portuguese team to its Thai counterpart.
