Gov’t Council Adopts Draft Decree on Public-Private Partnership National Committee

Rabat - The Council of Government, which met Tuesday through videoconference, adopted the draft decree No. 2.20.703 relating to the Public-Private Partnership National Committee, which was presented by the Minister of Economy, Finance and Administration Reform.

According to a press release released at the end of the Council, this Committee was created by the law n ° 46.18 amending and supplementing law n ° 86-12 relating to public-private partnership contracts and this in the objective of promoting and rationalizing public investment, as well as institutionalizing the modes of financing and strengthening good governance principles.

This decree seeks to set out the composition and progress of the work of the said committee which is headed by the Presidency of the government, according to the same source.
