The two parties discussed several issues relating in particular to cultural cooperation between Morocco and Italy as well as national and international current news.
Hachimi Idrissi expressed, during this meeting, the full readiness of MAP to cover the various events by the Italian diplomatic representation in Morocco as part of the Agency's efforts to support the development of relations between the two countries.

MAP, which has an office in Rome since November 1988, is a partner of three Italian news agencies, namely ANSA (Agenzia Nationale Stampa Associata), AGI (Agenzia Giornalistica Italiana) and ILVELINO/AGV NEWS.
These agreements concluded in 2012, 2015 and 2017 respectively aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation and consolidate professional relations between MAP and these partner agencies on the back of the centuries-old relations between Morocco and Italy.
In a statement to M24, MAP's 24/7 news channel, Barucco recalled the long-standing partnership between MAP and major Italian news agencies.
The meeting also focused on the actions of the Italian Embassy in Rabat, in particular with regard to the implementation of the multidimensional strategic partnership between Italy and Morocco, whose declaration was signed in November 2019 by the foreign ministers of the two countries, said the diplomat.
This partnership, which touches on several areas including the political, economic, commercial, cultural and academic fields, also promotes interfaith dialogue, he added, noting that relations between the two countries have flourished over the past ten years.
The Italian Ambassador highlighted the important role played by the Italian community residing in Morocco and the Moroccan community established in Italy in strengthening relations between the two countries.
