A statement from the National Police (DGSN) said that these security operations have targeted posts on social networks and on e-commerce sites regarding electronic chips used to receive phone calls and connected to a headset, adding that the said operations allowed the arrest of 7 suspects in Salé and 6 others in the cities of Témara, Oujda and Agadir, as well as another in Meknes, suspected of being involved in the sale of these materials.
The search operations also allowed the seizure of 345 electronic chips of different types, as well as a dozen headphones, batteries and chargers, said the DGSN, noting that computers and cell phones carrying digital traces of the trafficking operations of these materials on the Internet, were also seized.
These operations are part of the preparations and proactive security operations by the DGSN, at the regional and central levels, aimed at ensuring the smooth running of school exams and fighting trafficking and the tools used in fraud, concluded the press release.
