This donation was granted to the Mauritanian Diplomatic Academy, during a ceremony held Friday in Nouakchott and attended by the Secretary General of the Mauritanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Alia Bint Yahya Ould Mankous and the Ambassador of the Kingdom to Mauritania, Hamid Chabar.
The laboratory includes a large number of computers connected to a computer system and a local network to ensure training in modern languages in the best conditions.
The laboratory of last generation adopts the best modern programs in an interactive way between the trainers and the executives of the academy.
Speaking on this occasion, Alia Bint Yahya Ould Mankous welcomed this commendable initiative of the Kingdom, stressing the importance of providing the academy with this laboratory, since it allows Mauritanian diplomats to master several languages.
For his part, the head of the steering committee of the project of the Mauritanian Diplomatic Academy, Abdelkader Mohamed Ahmedou, praised this Moroccan initiative, which is the first of its kind.
This laboratory set up with the support of the Kingdom is part of a fruitful cooperation between Morocco and Mauritania in the field of training of diplomats.
He stressed that the establishment of this laboratory is part of the fundamental missions of the Diplomatic Academy on improving the learning of modern languages and expertise in this field.
He said that this laboratory greatly benefits the executives of the Mauritanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs by allowing them to follow daily practical courses.
Ahmedou said that the Mauritanian Diplomatic Academy wishes to benefit from the experience accumulated by the Moroccan Academy of Diplomatic Studies in the field of training.
